The four strategies are centered on having a Meaningful Learning experience based on the learner’s skills, needs and interests.

Pre-Assessment

It provides a better understanding of the learner's prior knowledge and misconceptions before the target concept is introduced.

Explicit Teaching

Concepts are broken down into small parts and taught in a structured way that involves explanation and demonstration through discussions and visual aids.

Practice

When the target concept is rehearsed over time, through interactive games or guided reading activities, learners increase their confidence as it becomes easier.

Formative assessment

It is a useful tool to monitor the child's learning style, provide feedback, and adjust the teaching style.
